About Me

I teach developmental and college-level English composition courses, IVCC’s creative writing course, and occasional literature courses at IVCC both face-to-face and online. I love the community college environment and its diverse student body, which is part of the reason I also make consistent good faith efforts to make my course materials and resources accessible to all learners, despite learning or physical difficulties.

I have been teaching full-time at IVCC since January 2014 and have taught part-time since 2010. I moved to Illinois from Phoenix, Arizona and am originally from West Michigan.
